Mette Siedentopf
Bubble Projects is proud to exhibit works of Danish artist Mette Siedentopf,
Artist of the year; Denmark 2008, at Hilton Copenhagen! She studied at Royal Copenhagen, works as a teacher at the School of Art and Crafts and is very active in several art projects.
As long as she remembers she dreamed of being able to dedicate her whole life to her artworks and make a living of it. Over the past years she exhibited regularly and she managed to build up a client base. The way she expressed herself in her work has changed drastically over the years. From delicate watercolor studies to abstract to landscapes and portraits. But 10 years ago she found a place where she feels at home, a place where the source of new work never will be emptied.
Her goal is to spread happiness and laughter with her paintings. You will see stories from everyday life with silly, funny and ugly characters as the main characters. She feels inspired by the way children try to reproduce the human body. In the universe of her paintings everything is allowed and a figure or character may very well have 3 fingers, long crooked legs, a head that is far too large and a big green nose. Colors also play a very important role, she explores the world of colors and always hunts for the perfect shade. All together humorous expression can be seen as one of the most important elements of her work. As Mette says: “I feel a relieve when I hear someone laugh and recognize the situations in my paintings.”

Fulco Lorenzo
Dutch talent Fulco Lorenzo is a very versatile artist. He studied at the Art Academy in Utrecht, at the Vrije Academy in The Hague and the Film Academy in Brussels. He lives and works in Amsterdam, where he is involved in film, photography and painting.
His work is best described as whimsical, expressive and emotional. Themes that are well represented in his work are beauty, passion and the struggle between man and woman. A part of his collection consists of portraits of women and friends. His works are characterized by a strong use of color and a dynamically developing style that accentuate the moods of his character. He exposes his work in several art galleries in the Netherlands and abroad.

Leen Bastiaens
Leen Bastiaens was born in Antwerp. Early on, she developed a great interest in art. Drawing, painting and being creative have always been a leitmotif in her pursuits. Through several years at the art academies of Sint Niklaas and Mortsel, she got a firm basis in portrait and figure drawing. During private lessons of an artist she learnt to master the watercolor technique. Later she also took several courses in ceramics and jewelry making. There is a clear distinction between her acrylic paintings that are mainly abstract and often on large canvases, and the watercolor paintings that are more figurative. This diversity gives her the chance to concentrate on her drawing skills.
