Isabelle Bossuyt (25/04/1977) is a Belgian contemporary artist. First she studied at the Art Academy in Tielt and after this she graduated cum laude as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint-Lucas Gent. Actually she graduated as a textile designer and for several years she combined her job in the textile industry with her passion, namely painting. In 2008 she finally decided to give up her job and to start her own art gallery. The style of her work, oilpaintings on canvas, offer us a combination of abstract and figurative paintings and is often inspired by fashion and textiles. Colour, texture and material are very important in the creation of her work.
